(woot! hop along on the bandwagon! haha see u there!) Kurobara's senses came to life, but she still felt extremely groggy, as if a hangover- but of course she hadn't been drinking. Oh yeah. "Mother". Suddenly the recent memories flooded back, but then she felt herself being dragged across leafy terrain. She heard the rustling and music of the trees, but one thing out of place was the desperate panting and pace of running feet. Kurobara felt strong arms pulling her along and the smell of...fear. Her spiritual abilities could feel the pain that one of them was suffering. Finally her eyes peeled open. Her sight was still a bit hazy, but she could see the figure of Xin Long running in front of her eyes. She also noted that Kishi- no, it was Menisti- it was her aura that was tinged with the pain. Then it must be Kishi dragging her along. Xin Long noted that Kurobara had waken up. "Kishi! She's awake! Kurobara, can you get up?" Kurobara pushed her feet forward, forcing herself into a running position despite being dragged. Then she found her wrists still being firmly grasped by Kishi. Kishi's veins stood out in her wrists, representing her nervousness. "Umm....Kuro, I don't understand much of it myself, but apparently I was going to die- don't know why it was going to be me- you were going to be captured, and Menisti and Kishi hate your mom but Menisti got hurt and Kishi is kinda freaking out," Xin Long filled in. Kurobara growled and said, "She's...not my mom if she's going to hurt you..." Pain still laced through her mind. Xin Long's grin was a bit grim as he said, "Well...she was going to hurt you too, but she'd have to get through me first right?" He puffed out his chest and proudly declared, "After all, I AM your best summon, aren't I?" "Sure sure...Kishi, can you fill me in...well, at least better than Xin Long can?"

Kishi turned to face Kurobara who had awaken. Beads of sweat formed at her forehead. She had to hands on a wet towel and was plastering it onto Menisti's face. Kishi sat down on the floor and dug her heels in, she summoned a green fire to play with, and help tell her story. Kishi's eyes flickered upward and sighed,
"I'm one of the Cursed. The only sign that we¡°£¬her hands indicating Menisti and others not present, "are Cursed, as that we can feel the pain the Queen inflicts, without any physical harm. She can just look at us, and we can die, not any sort of odd look, just if she's upset with us or something. She can kill you two as well, but it would require more effort, but she can't kill us. The Cursed are bound to her, hence the chains and we are like, her henchmen"
"or somethin' of ze sort", Menisti murmured. Kishi flicked a look at her, and got up. Then punched her in the stomach, Menisti blacked out.
"Not good for your health silly, so shut up", she continued on, "So the Queen, up to no good as usual. Was going to capture you. We have no idea what they do to captured. And she was going to kill Xin Long. But that's besides the point. You sorta blacked out, and we dragged you out here. The Queen was about to use the Curse on me, she already got Menisti, but I numbed myself, so I can't feel anything", she smiled weakly, "And here we are. So. What have you got to do with this? You're not one of the blood. We're under her orders to find one person henced 'the blood'. Keira claims she has found her", she added as a foot note. The green fire swirled around her finger, periodically changing: to chains, a glass city, and it lingered on a scene. But for only a millisecond, before she dismissed the fire, and the memory.

"Well," Kurobara started. "One, I don't know what the 'blood' is. Two, I really don't know why my so-called mom wants me back after like, 15 years. Three, there's a way to get out of the curse- or whatever it's supposed to be."

Kishi stared at Kurobara. "There's no way out of the curse other than dying. 3 million people have the curse, and for 30 centuries nobody has found a way out of it. It's immpossible. Even killing the Queen doesn't work. I'm part of the assasination committee. I would know. The Queen has selfish reasons. We never know what she wants. She could want you just because she feels like it."

Kurobara smiled at her incredulous reaction. "Oh...it's possible, alright."
Xin Long groaned with exasperation. "Awww....not the Marches!"
Kurobara remembered her first encounter with the Marches.
The three sisters hung from spears at the highest points of the tower by fine ghostly chains. Their blank eyes stared at her emotionlessly as their wind carried their whispers.
Help us.
And so she did.
Voices echoed through the shadows. The sound seemed to emanate from every directions.
"We're here," one voice announced.
"Mmm...it's been awhile," a distinct voice remarked.
"I'm rather hungry," a younger voice said.
Then they seemed to melt out from the shadows. The Marches floated rather than walk, and the three sisters' deep rosette-colored hair flowed in the wind that swirled in their presence.
"You called?" said the slightly-darker haired girl.
Kurobara said, "These are the girls that I freed. The Marches- Allena, Arai, and Akishira."
"It's true," Arai confirmed- her rosy hair was the lighter shade. "We are forever indebted to her." The three sisters surrounded Kurobara in a protective stance. "But of course, she is not only someone we owe but an invaluable friend."

Kishi raised an eyebrow, not even feinting belief,
"So lets hear it. What'd you do? I don't believe it can be done because it can't", her fingers snapped, and a thousand chains rustled out into visibility, and they linked to Kishi, Menisti, and even the Marches. Although there was only one set of rusted chains on the Marches, they still were almost free. Menisti groaned. Kishi propped her up and she opened one eye and looked at their surroundings.
"Minh, they claim they can free us, without being killed in the after shock", Kishi whispered gently, then adressing the Marches and Kuro-kuro,
"Amuse us"

(Nice pic three sisters! its a good fit. so do you mind if i join your other RPG, once you get the show on the road?) Kurobara raised an eyebrow, noting their blatant disbelieving feeling. Xin Long protested, "Hey! Kurobara never lies! Never! She either doesn't say anything or says the truth in a riddle." Wordlessly, Kurobara conjured an image in the air- a faded memory. She stared up at the faces of the three girls. Kurobara couldn't refuse their imploring plea. And the only way up...was to enter the castle.
The cold air penetrated her body, as the castle walls did not provide any heat. She ran up the swirled staircase. Kurobara passed by numerous doors, and her feet were slowly beginning to tire.
Suddenly a long, bloodcurdling scream rang throughout the halls. Kurobara began pacing even faster. The stone walls blurred and the doors seemed to melt as she flew at lightning speed.
Finally she reached the top. The only obstacle in her way was a huge ornate door, sealed with a large chain and lock. No problem, which Kurobara only stared down and it exploded in shards of silver. The door creaked open and large shadowed tendril pulled her in.
Suddenly she saw a small light- the window from which the girls hung. But the shadows were fighting. They tried to consume her with hate and darkness.
"No one loves you."
"You're a misfit."
"Die."
And then there was another voice.
"Kurobara, I believe you."
The voice- a memory from long ago- gave her the burst of energy she needed. A flare of mana flew out and Kurobara saw a little golden sphere on a small table in the center of the room. She saw tendrils of silvery chains- the same ghostly material that captivated the girls- and she knew what to do. Kurobara rummaged through her bag, and whipped out explosive tags laced with a special material only Kurobara had made. She threw them onto the golden ball and the tags blew up on contact. She saw that they were slightly scathed, but not enough.
Kurobara stepped over there herself and saw that the golden sphere had a little keyhole- but a strange shape unlike any other she had seen. Then she winced in pain- that strange darkness was still trying to overcome her.
She whipped around to see strange figures bubbling out, groping in the darkness. They tried to grab Kurobara, but she took the golden ball and jumped out the window. The chains rattled along and dragged the girls with it.
Kurobara landed in the courtyard and more creatures of darkness bubbled out in strange human-like shapes, lurching forward to capture her. Then Kurobara cast a spell and murmured some words.
She flashed into another dimension and found the girls had been bound to the golden ball with the strange hole. But no longer were they weak- out of the room of darkness was the ball, that seemed to control their powers. The controller of the sphere evidentley affected the girls. Now it was in Kurobara's hands. And then Kurobara heard a scream of anger, a howl of frustration from far away. She knew their captor was not pleased at all.

Menisti howled in laughter-laughter that was of realization and joy. She groped at Kishi's hand.
"She's the blood!" and with ultimate speed that no reflex could defy, she cut a small cut an collected one drop of blood from Kurobara. Menisti let half of the minuscule drop of freedom drop on her chain and allowed the other to drop onto Kishi's chains. The chains grew red and dissolved into powder. The yellow glowing sphere was finally revealed to Kishi and Minh. Both their hands crushed the sphere.
Kishi was shocked and she flexed her wrists slightly, before letting a ripple of fire burst into her hair. Menisti morphed into her original form in a mist wolf. She growled happilly and smiled crookedly at Kurobara.
"Finish freeing the Marches now. They had no idea you were Blood. They are still chained to you", Kishi smiled. Minh was busy morphing her face and making the Marches giggle and went around chasing Xin Long as a pitbull and then a dragon and finnally a basilisk.
Kishi gently touched Kurobara's hand and the scar melded itself back with the skin. A piece of paper suddenly shriveled out of the air. "Help. Godslayers Wanted"
(( Sure!!! I wanted to link the two RPGs togetherso to read about what this mission is about go to the RPG Godslayers and the first post is the information and the point of the mission. See ya there! Oh and we continue this RPG till Kishi Minh and Kurobara decide to go to that world then we start RPGing at Godslayers))

Kurobara blinked. "Woah now..."
Kurobara crooked her finger, and the Marches came toward her. Kurobara winced as she made a small incision in her wrist, and let droplets of her blood fall into the keyholes. Then the chains burned crimson and crumbled into dust.
Kurobara picked up the sheet of paper and saw the title- a job offer, hm?
"I'll take you up on this offer, if you're asking me, that is," Kurobara said to Kishi.
Kurobara turned to the Marches. "As this is, I'll be leaving, now that you're free."
Akishira smiled and said, "Call on us, whenever help is needed."
Allena voiced all the sisters' thoughts: "We are forever grateful."
Arai came forward and grabbed Kurobara's hand. "A symbol of gratitude- in all the land we are known for our power. If not for you then we would remain weak and defeated. This token- show it to anyone- monster, human, whatever it may be- they will know to back away. If they are foolish enough to challenge you- squeeze this medal and think of us. We will come, without fail. Be warned- you only have 3 times to call upon us." She pressed the coin-like circle covered with an intricate symbol that was secured with a leather cord into Kurobara's hand.
"Farewell." And then they melted into the shadows.

"Too much to handle?", Minh asked inquiringly, the words did not come from her mouth, but flowed from her being. She sat down like a good wolf.
"I think we owe you an explanmation on our part", Kishi nodded, "We knew there was another way", she let those words sink in, "We always knew. We just never believed. There is a prophecy about the five bloods that can defeat the Queen. Five who can see the gold and whose blood can destroy the bond. We believed when you showed the memory".
Minh scratched her head as Kishi finished.
"We should take the job. And rest up", Minh suggested, "It says we need a team of five. Maybe we'll find someone as we rest up"

(OMG O^O i'm sorry i couldn't make it to art club...i was busy trying to find help for math. i'll be there next time ) "Then I will offer my services to your team of five," Kurobara offered. She wasn't doing anything new during the time being- rather, this was quite intriguing. Xin Long piped up, "OH! Memememememeeeee!" Kurobara stared and blatantly stated, "You don't count....you're extra, because you're a stellar spirit." He pouted and said, "Fine. But you better summon me soon." Xin Long departed with a puff of smoke.

((That's ok! She just showed us a new really fast easy way to make mugs. It's not that "original" anymore cause you use rolling stamps...))
Minh giggled at Xin Long's reaction. She morphed back to a human, red hair dangling steadfast.
"Then let's find a hub and somewhere to eat! I'm starved!" Kishi grinned,
"Yup!", she looked at Kurobara, "You mentioned something about travelling through portals. Know any good restraunts?"

Rose's feet clamored on the stone floor of the the inn as she retreated out of the rain. She pulled up her hood higher above her ears and tried not to swish her tail around much. So this is what they call an inn she thought, Rose had never been in an inn before. There was a stone fireplace and a check in counter where you were supposed to rent a room if you were going to stay there. There were also a line of chairs against the wall in which Rose sat on thinking about what to do first.

Kurobara pondered for a moment- there were plenty of noteworthy places to eat, but only one restaurant stood out among others.
"This way, please, " said Kurobara. As the words left her lips a gaping black hole split the air. She stuck her head through and motioned for the Menisti and Kishi to enter the portal. "We'll be going to the Bread n' Butter- they have delicious biscuits, by the way."
